Nursing is a challenging profession. Bed side care is the backbone of Nursing Profession. With the advancement of technology and inadequate number of competent Nurse compared to the need of bed side nursing, nursing assistant training is established. Practice and skill as well as knowledge is essential for the Nurse assistant without which she cannot assist a professional nurse to provide complete satisfying patient care. For this we have introduced a scientific curriculum which helps the Nurse Assistant in thinking, feelings as well as in functioning. There should be an effort to achieve certain qualities viz commitment to profession, maintaining dignity and ethics, readiness to correct mistakes, learn from mistakes, respect the right of the patient, right attitude etc. For that a standard curriculum named as Advanced Bedside Nursing Assistant has been made by qualified professionals.
