Madam Curie Institute of Health Sciences is an academic institute of paramedical studies under the Calcutta Heart Clinic and Hospital Society.
It started its journey on January 2022 under the leadership of Academic Director . Prof Maitreyee Bardhan Roy, who is a renowned educationist and former Principal of Basanti Devi College, Kolkata.
The MCIHS is registered as a skill centre under the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
Students from the economically weaker section of the society will be trained here in order to empower them to employment in medical field.
The following courses are under consideration:
- Home health Aid
- Basic Emergency Medical Technician.
We plan to grow more and newer courses will be adopted gradually.
